My Wednesday Chicken Liver Dinner Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb or package of fresh chicken livers
  • lemon zest
  • small pat of butter
  • olive oil (twice around the frypan)
  • 1 large sweet onion sliced
  • 6-8 cherry tomaotes halved
  • 4 tblsp wondra or reg flour
  • kosher salt to taste
  • pepper mill pepper to taste
  • 1 heaping teas curry powder
  • 5 cloves of garlic preferably roasted
  • chili pepper or peppers of your choice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place cleaned chicken livers in a small colendar
  2. rinse thoroughly
  3. remove to paper towels and pat dry
  4. heat pan on stove
  5. when med hot add butter and olive oil
  6. add onions cook for 2 minutes
  7. add garlic and sliced tomatoes
  8. while cooking on low prepare livers by adding the last 4 ingredients to them and with your gently coat them with the mixture.
  9. Place a few at a time in the pan with the veggies until all are in and cook over med heat untill done to the desired degree
  10. Watch them carefully and turn when needed.
  11. Serve sizzling hot over rice or couscous if preferred
