Christmas Tree Veggie Platter Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch broccoli
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 container grape tomatoes
  • 4 pretzel rods
  • 1 recipe dill dip:
  • 8 ounces sour cream (can use lite)
  • 8 ounces real mayonnaise (can use lite)
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon Beau Monde seasoning
  • (if you can’t find Beau Monde, use 1 teaspoon each: garlic powder, celery salt and onion salt)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion

Instructions

  1. Break apart the broccoli into florets.
  2. Break apart the cauliflower into florets.
  3. Place broccoli pieces on tray in the shape of a Christmas tree.
  4. Place grape tomatoes around the broccoli pieces.
  5. Place 4 pretzel rods for the “trunk” of the tree
  6. Scatter cauliflower pieces around the “base” of the tree for “snow”.
  7. Mix up dip ingredients and serve with veggie platter.
  8. NOTE - cut out some small “star” shapes from a yellow pepper for additional tree decorations, if you have the time. Lots of “decorating” ideas with this platter!
