Crockpot Chicken in Sour Cream Cheese Sauce with Noodles
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix or onion soup mix with some italian herbs tossed in
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast or breast & rib pieces
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon tumeric
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 ounce)
- 1 can chicken broth (14 1/2 ounce)
- 2 tablespoons aji panca (or chili/tomato paste)
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce or other chili sauce
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 package wide egg noodles (16 ounces) cooked (or any other kind)
Instructions
- Turn crockpot on high. Place butter in bottom of crock pot.
- When butter has melted, add italian dressing mix and garlic stir until well mixed.
- Place chicken in the slow cooker; sprinkle with seasonings.
- Top with onions, both cans of soup, broth, aji, Sriracha, cream cheese, and sour cream. Stir gently.
- Cover and cook on low for 7 hours or until the chicken falls apart.
- Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred.
- Return chicken to the slow cooker, add the noodles.
- Mix well. Cover and cook on low setting for an additional 30 min or untill heated through.
