Western Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 2 cans pinto beans
- 2 cups frozen corn
- 1/4 lb. cheese, (American processed, or cheddar)
- 2 TBLS chili powder
- Serve with Texas Pete Hot Sauce
Instructions
- In large pot, brown the ground beef and drain.
- Place a small amount of water into the pot, add the cheese and melt it. (I use about 1/4 cup of water.)
- When the cheese is mostly melted, add the other ingredients and heat until bubbly hot, stirring occasionally.
- If you don’t want it quite so spicy, cut down on the amount of chili powder.
- Serve with your favorite hot sauce.
